Mrs. yoder - Social Studies
This is my 25th year teaching, and I can't imagine doing anything else! I have been teaching 6th grade since MPMS opened in 2010. I am thrilled to be teaching middle school on a traditional calendar and I LOVE Social Studies. I spent my junior year of college abroad in France and was able to travel throughout Europe (by staying in hostels with fellow students from Rutgers University). I moved from NJ to NC in 2004 and consider this my home. I have a 27-year old daughter named Sarah. I also have a dog named Lucy and black cat named Smeagol (yes - she is sometimes bad). When I am not teaching, I am often running on the Tobacco Trail or learning how to sky ski on Jordan Lake with my husband Mark. Check out my social studies page here for more information.
Mrs. Salmon - Language Arts
Welcome to MPMS! I’m grateful to be starting my seventh year at Mills Park. I was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in the small town of Metuchen, NJ. I earned my undergraduate degree in English from Boston College and later earned a masters in Communications from Seton Hall University. Not long after, my husband and I moved to North Carolina with our three children and I continued my education by obtaining a teaching degree from NC State. I am most happy spending time with my family travelling, watching my kids in their favorite activities or just enjoying time at home. This summer I spent time at the beach and travelled to Maine. Last year I became a Clemson Tigers fan as my oldest son attends school there. I look forward to a great year! Check out my website for more info: http://salmonmpms.weebly.com/

Mr. Walski - Math
I am originally from Clarks Summit, PA. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Ithaca College, NY. This is my twelve year teaching and seventh year at Mills Park Middle School. I started my career teaching in Florida, and also spent three years teaching at Wakefield Middle. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as watching and playing sports. I have coached football and basketball at the middle school level for ten years. I work alongside my wife, a Language Arts teacher on the Lions team. My son, Aidan, is starting 1st Grade at Mills Park Elementary. Check out my math page here for more information.
Mrs. Molloy - Science
I began teaching in Wake County in 2010. I have a B.A. in psychology from the University of North Texas and a M.S. in psychology from the University of Sheffield in England. I began my career working within the Neurology (brains!) Department at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. I then worked as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Sheffield. I presented my research to other psychologists and published papers in scientific journals. After thirteen years of teaching adults, I stayed home with my baby boy Sam (he's not a baby anymore!) and obtained my teaching certification from NC State. I'm married to Phil (who is from Ireland) and our son Sam is beginning his senior year at Apex High School. I also have two dogs who I adore, but drive me crazy! Their names are Sophie and Coco. I love to read, play video games, and travel to new places. Click here to navigate to my web page.
